How Great....

As we were sitting on the beach last night watching the sunset, I was just in awe of how beautiful the sunset was!!  I just started singing....

The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

Name above all names
Worthy of our praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

This was the best day of my life!!!

The Lord has been so good to us!!!  Adam told me a couple of weeks ago, that we really need to go on vacation together as a family. Believe it or not, we've never been on a family vacation!!  We've traveled together, but it was always for a purpose...Christmas or weddings in MI last year...so, we decided to go this year!!

Now, my no means to we have a lot of money, but the Lord provided a lovely cottage for us to stay in for SUPER CHEAP!!!  If you know me, you know that I LOVE cheap!!!  We're staying at this adorable little cottage in Lakeside MI, right off Lake Michigan!!  It's literally a block to the beach!!

Adam & I aren't really "beach" people, but obviously our kids are!!  We got in yesterday and immediately changed into our swimsuits (YIKES!!!) and headed for the sun & sand!!!  The kids played, and played, and played....it was awesome!!!  I've never seen a beach so beautiful and it made me, yet again, awestruck with God's beauty!!  I can't believe this beach is in MICHIGAN!!!  Wow!!!!  Well, better get ready for the beach again.... :)

...last night before bed, Bryson told Adam "this was the best day of my life!!!".... Thank you Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever???

Have you ever felt so clearly, God's Will for your life?  Have you ever, without a doubt, known that it is Him working?  Maybe a new job, or a new house...a divine appointment of sorts?  I can't tell you how many times in the last 2.5 years I have felt this feeling...seriously like God has his hand on the back of my neck guiding me in the way He wants me to go....kind of how I guide my children thru a crowd.

I can't begin to tell you every instance, but I have no doubt that God has His hand firmly placed on Adam and I right now.  Things are lining up perfectly and we know without a doubt, that His will is being done!!  We appreciate your prayers as we begin this new adventure in our lives!!!

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.  ~Jeremiah 29:13~

First of many...I hope....

If you know me, you know that I LOVE baseball!!  Living in NC, away from my Detroit Tigers, for a whole season, was torture for me.  Adam and I would hook up his laptop to our tv, and watch their games on mlb.com last summer, every game!!  Crazy I know!!  I would even park myself in front of the tv playing Sportscenter at the gym last summer....drove my NC bestie Casey CRAZY!! :)

So, when Adam and I moved back up here, one of my first comments was..."we're getting season tickets & I'm going to Opening Day!"  Well, we did get the tickets, and I did go to Opening Day!  We bought a package with my brother and are going to about 28 games this summer!!  BUT, last night was Meghan's first time going!!!

Now, she has been to a Tiger game before, but she was about 8 months old and doesn't remember it.  We moved when she was 2, so she never really had the memories that Bryson does of going to downtown Detroit for a game.  I think, based on her expression, she thought the game was going to be on a softball field like the ones that Mommy & Daddy play on.  Boy, was she shocked!!  She told me that the Tigers play in a beautiful place...boy do they ever!!

Meghan was so good...she waited patiently until we were seated before asking for her peanuts (what's a game without them!!) and ate her Ball Park up!!  She watched the players, cheered, got put on the big screen (wow!!!)  and sang along in the 7th inning stretch!  I couldn't have asked for her to behave better!!  It was a good night, one that she won't forget....

neither will I!!!! :)
